About the Gala
No doubt this year was a challenge like no other in recent memory. JYN has been quick to adapt and appear on the front lines to help those in need during this pandemic. Throughout, JYN programs and engagement initiatives have been ongoing, conforming to the ever-changing regulations in order to stay relevant, supportive and involved with our teens and with the community during these unique times.
Under normal circumstances, the JYN Gala would have been celebrating our 13th Bar Mitzvah year in grand style. But in lieu of a public celebration, this year we are planning an equally enjoyable event from the comfort of your home. It will include a light online program complimented with an in-house gourmet charcuterie board, an amazing selection of kosher wines to accompany and all utensils needed for your exclusive dining pleasure. We will also be running our Silent Auction online and top the evening off with an amazing Raffle, live online.
This year in particular has presented a financial challenge for charities, many of whom are struggling to survive while at the same time moving into full gear to assist the community. Your support would go a very long way and will be so gratefully appreciated. Thank you for getting involved and helping us help others!
About JYN
(JYN) is a pioneer, charitable outreach organization unaffiliated with any synagogue or particular community. We are dedicated to the spiritual and social wellness of today’s Jewish Youth throughout Ontario.
OUR GOAL is to provide across-the-spectrum educational and recreational programming for today’s youth that makes Judaism relevant, alive and engaging. JYN’s unique combination of social and academic programs generates the perfect blend to make Jewish values real and appealing to today’s youth, ensuring their commitment for tomorrow.
FUNDING for JYN is generated solely from its own fundraising campaigns and the charitable giving of individuals. Although tomorrow is yet to come, ensuring its success is the concern of today.
